Car buying used to be
a stressful time for many people; that is until they
began shopping with the help of our network and our
nationwide affiliates. Car buyers can now avoid
hassling with salesmen and playing the "make the
offer" game with the dealership managers.
Through our network and its many affiliates across the
country, car buyers can buy the car or truck of their
choice from the comfort of their own living room or
the convenience of their office. These consultants use the
most current and updated pricing information directly
from the manufacturers to advise their clients regarding
their purchases. Their new cars and trucks are procured by
us through one of our participating dealerships either
locally or out of state. All consumers, no matter where
they live, may use the services of a consultant.
The concept behind
the auto consulting business is to save car buyers
time, hassle, and most of all, money, said J.
Patterson, owner of the firm. Patterson said buyers pay a
fee for the consultant's services, while saving hundreds
or sometimes thousands of dollars on the purchase of
their new vehicle -- whether it be foreign, domestic,
luxury or economy, and take delivery at a local dealership.
Patterson recalled
one elderly woman calling from Atlanta, who had searched
for weeks to find the luxury car she wanted. After
exhausting her resources, she called us and within a half
hour, the company advised her on her dream car and
saved her about $4,000 vs. haggling with a dealer. The
woman picked up her new car the next day -- just another
example of how we can satisfy customers while saving them
time and money.
"Treat people how they should be treated and
they will come back time and time again,"
Patterson said. "Many people have bought on
emotions and paid too much money in the past, and now
they see how much time and money can be saved. We're like
an insurance policy against being taken advantage
of."
"With the
corporate world and economy changing almost on a
daily basis, it is imperative that you get the most value
out of your dollar, whether it be buying a car or buying
groceries. For example, if you are food shopping and
there is a store that sells bread for $1 a loaf
and another store that sells the same bread for 50
cents a loaf, where are you going to buy your bread? The
same is true with cars and trucks today," Patterson
said.
Mr. Patterson
believes the high-pressure sales tactics used by some car
salesmen takes the fun out of buying a new car. "We
put the fun and excitement back into buying,"
Patterson said. This new form of car buying has become
more widely used and respected each year since
Patterson began his business 27 years ago. Patterson's
involvement with the car industry began in the late 1960s
when he washed cars after school. At that point he fell in
love with cars and set a goal of becoming part of the
automotive industry. After college, he began working for a
car dealership and later rose to assistant manager and then
general manager.
Because of the years
he spent as a general manager Patterson
understands the pressure put upon sales people. At the same
time, he made a special effort to please his
customers. The reputation he developed with car buyers has
continued through to this day.
Many corporations,
banks and credit unions take advantage of this service
as an additional benefit to their employees or account
holders. All types of buyers can be helped, young or old.
There is also financing information provided for various
programs. Additional advice on warranties, trade-ins and
after-market sales is also available through our
business.
"We pick a
select few qualified individuals in each city."
Patterson said, "New consultants with us are guided
closely by our staff and are taught the business step
by step." "We take great pride in the quality of
service and reputation that we and our consultants
uphold." We have contacts at participating dealers
nationwide that look forward to conducting transactions
with our clients.
